Coach Joe Kim began teaching NFL players the art of Football Combatives in 1992 with the Cleveland Browns. 

Coach Bill Belichick found Joe through an article in the Cleveland Plain Dealer about Joe’s international Taekwondo competitive career, thus leading the path to coaching. 

Under the direction of Coach Bill Belichick, Coach Nick Saban, and Coach Jim Bates, Joe learned how to use martial arts driven techniques and apply them to the game of football.  Coach Kim’s career has taken him through 10 NFL teams and multiple Pro Bowl level pass rushers. 

In addition to the coaching for the Cleveland Browns on 3 different occasions, Coach Kim has coached for the Dallas Cowboys, Miami Dolphins, Green Bay Packers, Denver Broncos, New York Giants, Buffalo Bills, Kansas City Chiefs, Chicago Bears, and the Washington Redskins, and the New England Patriots. 

Currently, Coach Kim is utilizing his passion of teaching his renowned method of Football Combatives to all levels of players and coaches.  In developing this membership based website, Coach Kim is further spreading the teachings of proven techniques that can be see on any given Sunday. 

Coach Kim and his wife Jeana currently live in Cleveland, Ohio, near their 2 adult daughters, Katie and Lexi.
